At present, the robot FSW (friction stir welding) machine independently developed by Risong has obtained the CE certification and reached the internationally recognized standard. Based on its high-precision and high-torque robot body, Risong robot FSW machine is laying a solid foundation for high-strength and high-precision friction stir welding. It has the following performance advantages: 250 Hz real-time pressure monitoring and adjustment, high-speed spindle with the independent intellectual property right, constant pressure static spindle shoulder, etc., ensuring the welding process stability in real time, reaching the maximum welding speed of 7,000 rpm with the torque of 76 Nm, widening the welding process window, and realizing high-quality flashless welding for the non-ferrous metals such as aluminum alloy and magnesium alloy of the whole series, which requires no grinding or post-treatment.

Risong Technology has also developed a new generation of Nadel spindle with high power and constant torque, which has multi-degree-of-freedom functions such as a large swing angle, rotation and fine adjustment, and has solved the accuracy control problem of thin-walled curved surface FSW spindle system. On the basis of meeting the green manufacturing indicators, with robotic advantages, the product has the characteristics of high flexibility, high efficiency, and intelligence.

Vehicle—Hub

With the market becoming more and more demanding on vehicles, many automotive factories have been pursuing the concept of an "all-aluminum body". The aluminum alloy hub is light in weight and variable in shape, which conforms to the concepts of fashion and low carbon, and is gradually replacing the steel hub. In the era of new energy vehicles, Risong reached a long-term cooperation agreement with an automotive hub supplier in 2020 to continuously provide high-quality FSW equipment to serve the automotive hub industry.

New Energy Vehicle—Battery Tray

In the key technical scheme for the intelligent production of NEV battery trays, automatic hydraulic pressure is realized in the welding of battery tray bottom plates and production line assemblies, so as to ensure the rigidity of workpieces and realize automatic loading and blanking of robots. Meanwhile, the uniform array hold-down method enables effective control of the welding deformation and ensures the welding quality.

Aerospace—Military Projects

In 2019, non-standard FSW equipment was customized for a military project. This was the first time that the customer used FSW technology for arc welding, and now the customer still uses our products for manufacturing. During the project, Risong's team flexibly adjusted the fixtures, changed the tooling linkage and optimized the relevant procedures according to the customer's changeable workpieces to ensure high-quality products and efficient shipment.
